This policy applies to the original owner or user of any new tire manufactured by Kumho Tire.
Eligible tires must be used in vehicle with which they were originally installed according the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation
本政策适用于锦湖轮胎制造的任何新轮胎的原始所有者或使用者。
符合条件的轮胎必须安装在按照车辆制造商的建议最初装配该轮胎的车辆上使用。

What is covered by the warranty and for how long 保修范围，及保修期

  • The new original usable tread has worn down to the remaining 1.6mm (2/32”) (i.e., worn down to the top of the built-in indicators in the tread grooves): before 6 years from date of manufacture for every passenger car Radial tire (whichever comes first), before 5 years from date of manufacture for every light truck and heavy duty truck tire (whichever comes first), any Kumho tire covered by this warranty becomes unusable due to a material or workmanship condition, Kumho will do either of the following.
    当全新的初始可用胎面磨损至剩余1.6毫米（2/32英寸）（即磨损至胎面凹槽内内置指示标记的顶部）时：对于每一条乘用车子午线轮胎，在自生产日期起5年之内（以先到者为准），对于每一条轻型卡车轮胎和重型卡车轮胎，在自生产日期起5年之内（以先到者为准），若任何受本保修条款覆盖的锦湖轮胎因材料或工艺问题而无法使用，锦湖公司将采取以下措施之一。
    • - During the first 1.6mm (2/32”) of the original usable tread, Kumho will replace such tire with a comparable new Kumho Tires free of charge. Applicable taxes on the new tire and costs of mounting and balancing service are payable by the owner.
      在最初的可用胎面的前1.6毫米（2/32英寸）磨损范围内，锦湖公司将免费更换一条与之相当的全新锦湖轮胎。新轮胎的相关税费以及安装和动平衡服务的费用由轮胎所有者承担。
    • - After the first 1.6mm (2/32”) of the original usable tread, a credit will be given toward the purchase of a comparable new Kumho Tire in proportion to the original usable tread remaining on the returned to the original usable tread of the new tire. Applicable taxes on the new tire and costs of mounting and balancing service are payable by the owner.
      在最初的可用胎面磨损超过1.6毫米（2/32英寸）之后，将根据退回轮胎上剩余的原始可用胎面与新轮胎原始可用胎面的比例，为购买一条与之相当的全新锦湖轮胎提供相应的抵免额。新轮胎的相关税费以及安装和动平衡服务的费用由轮胎所有者承担。
    • - Adjustment on out-of-balance or out-of-round tires is allowed only during the first 1.6mm (2/32”) of the original tread.
      仅在原始胎面最初的1.6毫米（2/32英寸）磨损范围内，才允许对失衡或失圆的轮胎进行调整。

What is not covered by the warranty 保修不涵盖哪些内容？

  • Tire damage or irregular wear due to
    由以下原因导致的轮胎损坏或异常磨损
    • - road hazards, such as punctures, cuts, snags, scuffs, carcass bruised, stone drill, or impact breaks
      因道路危险状况导致的轮胎损坏或异常磨损，例如扎破、割伤、钩破、擦伤、胎体淤青、石子嵌入或撞击破裂 。
    • - improper inflation, overloading, high-speed spinning, improper mounting or demounting, running flat, off-road use, racing, vandalism, willful damage, or abuse
      因充气不当、超载、高速空转、装卸不当、缺气行驶、越野使用、赛车活动、蓄意破坏、故意损坏或滥用（轮胎）而导致的（轮胎损坏或异常磨损） 。
    • - improper use or operation without limitation, improper inflation pressure, over-loading, use of an improper rim, vehicle mis alignment, tire/wheel assembly imbalance or other vehicle condition, worn suspension components, improper mounting or demounting, misuse, misapplication, fire or other externally generated heat, water, or other material trapped inside the tire during mounting tire alteration, improper inserting of sealant, balance, or filler materials
      包括但不限于不当使用或操作，如充气压力不当、超载、使用不合适的轮辋、车辆定位不准、轮胎/车轮组件不平衡或其他车辆状况问题、悬挂部件磨损、安装或拆卸不当、误用、错用、火灾或其他外部产生的热量、在安装轮胎时水或其他物质进入轮胎内部、对轮胎进行改动、不当注入密封剂、平衡材料或填充材料等（所导致的轮胎损坏或异常磨损）。
  • Any tire worn beyond tread-wear indicator (1.6mm or 2/32” tread remaining)
    任何磨损程度超过胎面磨损指示标记（剩余胎面为1.6毫米或2/32英寸）的轮胎。
  • Tire branded “NA” (no adjustment) or “BLEM” (blemished)
    标有“NA”（不予调整）或“BLEM”（有瑕疵）字样的轮胎。
  • Ride disturbance caused due to
    由以下原因引起的驾乘不适
    • - damaged wheels or flat spot
      由于损坏的车轮或（轮胎）扁平点而导致的驾乘颠簸。
    • - after the first 1.6mm (2/32”) tread wear
      在最初的1.6毫米（2/32英寸）胎面磨损之后。
  • Tire used in racing-related activities or competitive events are not covered by this warranty.
    用于与赛车相关的活动或竞技赛事中的轮胎不在本保修范围之内。
  • Ozone or weather cracking on tires over 4 years from the date of manufacture.
    自生产日期起超过4年的轮胎出现的因臭氧或天气因素导致的龟裂情况（不在本保修范围内）。
  • Loss of time or use, inconvenience, or any incidental or consequential damage.
    时间损失、无法使用造成的不便，或者任何附带的或间接性的损坏（均不在保修范围内）。
